I've been away for a couple of days moving to Florida so I logged into Second Life tonight to catch up on what I had missed. As soon as I logged, I immediately got a tp from my friend Bongo Oldbull.

Instead of a room full of scantily clad men in arse bling g-strings, I was tp'd into the decadently new go-go club No. 9 owned by Babyhoney Bailey and Bongo Oldbull. No. 9 reminds me of a great RL club with the voyeuristic dance shadow boxes and go-go dancers dressed up like SL's version of the Pussycat Dolls. The club was formerly the Mandarin Theater and was just re-opened as No. 9 on February 29th so it is still relatively new. Guys if you are in search of gorgeous and fun girls, this is the place to be. I counted a 10 to 1 ratio of girls to guy here so come prepared! Also where else can you see Miss SL Universe dancing on the smexxy SineWave dancepole???

I came upon a cute Japanese accessory store called *Chicoco* and immediately bought 90% of the store! I especially like the colorful beaded necklaces and headbands created by Chinastu Flores! The prices are extremly reasonable with all items below $100L. Also I noticed that some necklaces come in both a short and long version, which really helps out when you are trying to accessorize with puffy prim clothing like the poncho I was wearing today. Make sure to pet the kitty while you're there!

I Should Be Packing

Have you been to the niQue soil sim yet? Well get moving cuz this place is packed full of goodies all in one little place. Kind of reminds me of the "new" Koenji! Anyroo, I stopped by *UnTone* accessories location at niQue soil and saw a display of new items on the wall. I'm always on the lookout for new earrings, so these beauties were calling "Buy me Bobo!" They come in Silver, Tsubaki (Black Floral), or Dragon (Black & Gold) for $180L per. These were really a deal because not only do you get the high prim version per set, but also a low prim version too (great for those fashion shows)! In my photos you really can't see the earrings though, so I'm showing the vendor ad too.

The dress is also from *UnToneQuilt* and is called Caramel Milk Nitmanteau. I don't know what the heck a Nitmanteau is but the rest of the name makes me want to eat it up. The crochet detailing, balloon sleeves and heavy lace underpinings make this dress something special for only $185L.

The Silver Chain Flower didn't quite match the outfit but I wanted to show you anyways. I'm definitely going to need to figure out an outfit just to show off this accessory! It comes in both Silver or Black and also has a brooch option included for $230L. I also purchased the Gray Muffler (shown in vendor ad) for only $150L and it comes with a wonderful silver brooch. All of these items are TRANSFER which make them great gifts for that special girl (or Lawless who likes to wear to rock chicks clothing) you know!

Sunday in the Park

Just a casual Sunday look to bounce around the grid in. The focus was this gorgeously new Red flower cardigan from Kurotsubaki. This flowy vintage cardigan reminds me of one of those great scores you hope to find when you actually take the time to shop at a secondhand shop in RL. It comes in both a choice of Red or Brown for $180L. I paired this outfit with a casual white tank, brown capri pants and some great accessories from Five Minutes After Outfits. I really loved this plump little messenger bag with its bright stripes, fun button and nylon strap details for $200L. The sculpty Cordovan work boots in Burgundy really stood out with their realistic ankle creases and silver accent bits for $230L.

Vette's Boutique

I’ve been away for a couple of days in sunny Florida preparing for my big move in two weeks. I’m have a feeling that my blog posts may be a bit sporadic until I settle in, but never fear, I’m sure the lure of SL shopping won’t keep me away for too long!

As soon as I got back home today, I logged on and caught up on the fashion feeds and got down to some serious, dirty shopping. Here is an outfit I came up, the main highlight being this cute outfit from Vette’s Boutique for $320L. It was the first time I’ve ever had the pleasure to stop by Vette DeCuir’s shop and I was delighted with what she had to offer. It’s a small store but I still managed to pick up 5 outfits and a great freebie that I’m looking forward to wearing. Featured is the Custom 1 outfit with tons of primmy accents. The top can be worn with the tie option or alone and there is even a pretty prim bow on the back of the waistcoat that I wasn’t able to take a picture of. I really loved the combination of the polka dot blouse with the tweedy plaid short pants.

This outfit needed a boost of color so I threw on my Kurotsubaki Rabbit Bangle Watch. The details of this watch are amazing! The patchwork is beautiful and every time you look at it you’ll find a new surprise attached to the bangle. The watches also come in a Brown Leather or Bloody Bandage option that I purchased as great gifts for friends for only $200L each.

You should always listen to your friends! I followed Triangle’s directions and headed to Honey Kitty and picked up this cute Ribbon holic head band and necklace set for only $200L. This set is has color change options and with a click can change to Red, Coco, White, Pink, Black & Pink, Black & White, Purple and Blue. The set I picked up had polka dots but Ribbon holic also comes in animal print, stripe or assorted fabric choices too. I wandered upstairs and found a wall of +MimiEden+ clothing and immediately fell in love with the Nocturne dress. Nocturne is comes in Delicious Wine or Cinderella (Black) for $100L for a single color or $160L for both. Hi everyone! Sorry that you’re stuck with me at the moment...BoRee is off somewhere being a lazy ass couch potato. I learned today she actually has good reason to be. A+ Plus Accessories

A lovely, new accessories shop has opened up recently called +plus. While +plus is a relatively new store, there is already an array of high quality handbags and jewelry on display. Designer Helena Compton also seems like she will be creating women's apparel in the near future which I was excited to see.

Pictured below is the Vintage Pearl Necklace with Brooch for $130L. This necklace comes in White, Black and Red and also comes in a non-brooch option for $90L. The striking clutch comes in Black, Red and Purple and I really loved the crystal details adorning this bag. The outfit is Celestial City Update Group's freebie for today called Tux Dress. This week, until February 15th, Starley Thereian will be giving group members exclusive gifts to celebrate Valentine's Week. GLAM SL Magazine - LeeZu Baxter Designs

Whew what a crazy weekend! I was honored to be chosen as a model for the GLAM SL Magazine fashion show on Saturday. The show was absolutely spectacular and hands down the best production I've ever seen or been in. Both the creators and the models I worked with were top-notch and professional. The latest fashions from Ghost!, Artilleri, LeeZu Baxter Designs, Cubic Effect, Muism, Serene Sensations, Nicky Ree, Paper Couture, Maitreya and Cachet were shown. Gorgeous photos from the fashion show can be found all over the fashion feeds but I wanted to take a second and show my most favorite look.

Here is LeeZu Baxter's Kali Flexi Black Dress. This dress is really something special and has so many design elements I haven't seen yet in Second Life. The cut out designs are smoldering and the tush cleavage is as smexy as it gets. The gold glitter sheer layers come in the undershirt and underwear layer and I'm looking forward to mixing them with some looks in the near future.

Casual Saturday

Just a casual Saturday morning look I put together from some designers that I've recently been wearing a lot of lately. The hair is by Aden Breyer, creator of Aden and the style is called Edie, which I've attached the side ponytail from her Regina hairstyle. I love how you can mix-n-match her hairstyles to come up with something totally new.

I'm always on the hunt for interesting accessories and I found a store I had never been to called Magika. I picked up these Lightning Earrings which I have a feeling I'll be wearing a lot in the future. Also the Leather Bow Belt which I liked for the fun side knot and flexi bow.

The rest of the outfit is by two of my favorite Asian designers Bijou and Shop Seu. The sexy, purple button-up comes from Bijou's Virgo outfit and can be worn tucked or un-tucked. The short pants are from Shop Seu and come with puffy prim cuffs. These legwarmers I found on the [ida] blog posted by Miabella Foxley and I can't seem to take them off!

Zombie For Your Love

I’ve been meaning to post the fantastic hairs at Crimson & Clover and Rikka Koi’s zombie avatar contest gave me the perfect excuse. She recently announced the contest looking for a few good zombies to be used in an upcoming photoshoot. I’m a big fan of zombie movies in real life, so I of course had to have a zombie avie in my second life! The contest information for the Crimson & Clover zombie contest is posted below.

For this “look” I wanted to do an Anti-Valentine’s Day zombie look. Kallisto Destiny let me in on a tip the other day that *IR* had bloody dresses available so I hopped on over and picked up the Angel dress with blooms of blood on the skirt. Nothing says I love you like this gruesome SiniStyle Cupid’s Arrow that comes with an optional particle hearts poofer. The creepy zombie skin is made by ***Midnight Skins*** and comes with the disturbing hanging eyeball. The piece de la resistance P.S.Y.C.H.O Zombie Zhao can be found at Weird Shit (which has tons of other fun and just plain weird toys). This Zhao comes with zombie walk, run, fly, and stands that truly make your avie zombified! The Chloe hair in Black & Red comes from Crimson & Clover which I really suggest checking out for skins and other fantastic, out of the ordinary hairstyles. Okay off to go scare Dove and eat her brains!

Ghost! Valle Dark Dress

When Triangle Caudron of Ghost! dropped this dress on me I immediately stripped down, threw it on and ran with my huge skirt flying to the Rezzable Crimson Shadow sim to take photos. She had shown me this dress the other night while she was in the process of creating it for a fashion show this weekend. I stood there in awe of the incredible textures she had created and believe me these photos do not do this dress any justice!

Great features of this dress include the incredibly huge flexi skirt, the off-center keyhole back cutout, the spectacular lace accent shoulder piece, and the funky black stripe gloves. The Valle Dark Dress should be released soon and you will be able to purchase it at Triangle's new shop located at Sensual Productions, as well as her original store at Aria Reqiuem.

Naima Artemy Over Knee Boots

Back in the day when Dove use to have her Long Awkward Pose shop at the EMJ Southern Paradise sim, we would spend hours goofing around her shop and picking our noses. One day, Dove gave me the grand tour of the stores around hers and one in particular stood out. Just next door was a small shop called Naima by Naiman Broome. Fast forward to 4 months later…I was wandering around the same sim again and popped over to Dove’s old store location to see who had moved in. To my surprise, I found that Naima had ended up moving in and had added even more items to their line. Both men’s and women’s apparel are offered at Naima along with an assortment of quality shoes. Be sure to check out their jackets which are truly stellar!

Although there are tons of exciting things at Naima, one item in particular stood out to me. I was especially impressed by these sculpty Artemys boots that come in Beije, Blue, Azure, Brown, Black, Bordeaux and White for $500L per pair or $3,200L for the fat pack. While there are tons of boots on the grid, it is hard to find a pair that will go over our digital knees. Here are the Artmeys shown in the Bordeaux color. These boots also come with a darker Bordeaux option and invisi-prim options which I thought was a nice added touch. I really love the scrunchy tops with the soft suede tassels hanging from the back of these boots. Check out the Roma Leather Coats that coordinate with these boots. I’m so impressed with this purchase, that I expect I will be heading back soon to snap up some more items. Get there before I buy the rest of the store! The main store location can be found here.

Casablanca by Bare Rose Tokyo

When I grow up I want to marry June Dion, creator of Bare Rose Tokyo. No one else will do. Why? Nowhere else can you go in Second Life and purchase 4 outfits and still spend under $500L. She is constantly turning out high quality clothing with intricate and edgy prim attachments. Most of her outfits are so unique that tearing them apart to mix-n-match isn’t even necessary, especially because of the kick butt accessories she typically includes.

Featured below is the “Casablanca” outfit which is part of Bare Rose’s men’s line and a steal at only $135L. Only after a few modifications (thankfully most of her men’s clothing fits slimmer body frames), I was able to make a typical men’s outfit into a trendy but sexy women’s look. The outfit comes with tons of goodies. The tie comes in both Blue or Black and can be worn simply or with the chain and crucifix detailing. The utility belt comes with a choice of Blue, Red or Gray flexi sash. Also included are black leather armbands not featured in this post.

LAWLESS LIKED THE LEATHER JACKET SO MUCH HE BOUGHT IT IN THREE COLORS AND I OF COURSE BOUGHT IT IN RED. IT WAS A TOTAL STEAL FOR ONLY $60L! WHAT A SUCCESSFUL GRAND RE-OPENING FOR MS. DOVE SWANSON. OVER 150 PEOPLE WERE INVITED TO A PRIVATE CUSTOMER APPRECIATION SHOWING WHERE THEY WERE TREATED TO A FREE POSE SET OF THEIR CHOICE ALONG WITH OTHER FUN FREEBIE LOVE. THE PARTY WAS HOPPING AT 3PM WHEN THE MAJORITY OF GUESTS ARRIVED TO SHOW THEIR LOVE FOR THE POSEMAKER AND ALSO TO TEST OUT ALL OF THE NEW POSES. FAVORITE SETS AMONGST THE CROWD INCLUDED "IF THE SHOE FITS", DUDE II, AND REAR VIEW FOR THOSE CHEEKY MONKEYS OUT THERE. GUESTS WERE HELD HOSTAGE AND WERE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE WITHOUT THEIR FREEBIE PARTY GIFTS BY A MENACING SECURITY GANG. MAKE SURE YOU STOP BY CUZ THERE IS A FREEBIE POSE SET "CHUBBY" TO BE SCOOPED UP BY ALL! CONGRATS DOVE TO A FANTASTIC OPENING AND WE ARE PROUD OF YOU! Annah Whitfield, Creator of *AnnaH Couture*

Annah Whitfield is a relatively new designer on Second Life, only having been rezzed in-world for eight months. Every time I have ever teleported into the *AnnaH Couture* store, she was always there with a friendly face and an interest to discuss her passion for fashion. Since I’ve been watching her fashion line, I’ve been delighted to see her growing as a designer with each new release. You can see especially see the skills she is crafting in the texturing of her latest releases.

I had the opportunity to sit down and talk with Annah and get to know her a little better and find out what is in store for the AnnaH Couture line…

BoRee: Okay Annah when did you first come into Second Life and how far into the game did you realize you wanted to become a designer?

Annah: About 8 months ago, a friend introduced me to Second Life! I saw all of the beautiful things inside the game, with his avie, and I decided that I had to have a Second Life too. I didn’t think about being a designer, I just wanted to design my own clothes but a close friend told me that I should sell my stuff. I started by having a small corner in his store.

BoRee: You’ve recently partnered up with Myllie Writer of Persona to form ANIMAH, branching out into poses. How did you and Myllie join forces?

Annah: Yes, we met each other in the fashion show case New Shoots, organized by Alaska Metropolitan, owner of Metro Models. The show was for designers younger than 4 months! After that, we (Myllie) are close friends and when she started doing poses, she told me to try! I did, and we decided that we should open a store! It’s been great since then and we are the best friends ever :)

BoRee: You’ve made a lot of progress in the short time that you’ve been designing. What are your future plans with your AnnaH Couture line?

Annah: I am never completely satisfied with my work, so my plans are to do more and better! I love doing dresses, especially formal dresses! But I like to do casual clothing once in awhile so I don’t have any idea what’s coming up! I know I want to start doing men’s clothes and I have been studying and researching to start working with that!

BoRee: Oh wow men’s clothes! I know a lot of guys out there who are dying for more men’s fashion options! From your collection, what is your favorite piece that you’ve created so far and why?

Annah: I can’t choose only one! I absolutely love Gillian because of the contrast of yellow and black and I feel like a lady in it. I adore Carrie because it’s funky and funny but I don’t sell it as much! I love my last dresses which are my best work ever. Also both of the limited editions I have made to the fundraiser Shine are in my heart!

BoRee: I saw that you participated in the Shine fundraiser which is so awesome! Why did you get involved with such a good cause?

Annah: If you can do something to help, then we really should do it. I felt the obligation to help others! I wish I could organize something like Alaska did, to help some organizations in Portugal and I am planning on trying one day!

BoRee: Now that it is the New Year, what are you looking forward to the most in Second life in 2008?

Annah: My expectations for the New Year are definitely to redecorate my store! I am trying to start, but I don’t even know where to begin! I am also going to run a sale maybe next month so I can take all of the old items down and have more new stuff up! But I don’t like to do New Year’s resolutions cuz I never do what I want lol.

YOU WILL JUST KEEP BOUNCING OFF THE SIM LINE UNTIL YOU GET IN BUT HECK, YOU'LL GET IN BEFORE THAT PERSON TRYING TO TP DIRECTLY INTO THE STORE! I'M PONDERING CHANGING THE NAME OF THIS BLOG TO "I ONLY WEAR LAST CALL & ETD" CUZ THAT'S WHAT GOING TO HAPPEN. I'M FIGURING I NOW OWN 120+ ETD HAIRS AND 90 LAST CALL OUTFITS? YES, I KNOW I HAVE ISSUES :p

ODIN DESIGNS A LINE CALLED NO MERCY ALONG WITH HIS PARTNER FREYA SINISTER THAT YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY CHECK OUT.
